Be mindful of the types of drinks you consume, because drinking the unhealthy fluids can make you gain weight. Learn which beverages are good for you and which are bad.

Here are the good drinks.

Water - The best drink around and one that you cannot go wrong with drinking. It will hydrate your body, quench your thirst, while not adding any calories into your diet. If you are going to drink your tap water then get it checked for anything that is unhealthy. If your tap water is not good enough, then try bottled water or even using some type of water filter on your tap water.

Be careful with any flavored water, as it might contain sugar. Fresh fruit juice or sugar free flavor packets are a good choice, but do not drink anything with sugar.

Milk - Very good drink choice that is loaded with calcium and vitamin D also. This is a great choice for growing bodies and healthy minded adults alike. It is good for your body, but do not drink the flavored milk, as they contain more calories.

Did you know that soda is a bad drink for you? This type of beverage contains sugar, which means more calories are going into your diet. Those calories also have no nutritional value. Just take a look at the nutrition label on a can of soda and you will see how many calories it has.

Alcohol

Having a beer often tastes good, but drinking alcohol can add unwanted calories into your weight loss plan. Wine does have plenty of calories, but the antioxidant properties are good for your heart if drank in moderation only. Your drink choices can be a big part of whether or not your diet fails.
